The average American household discards 13,000 pieces of paper and cardboard each year. I am currently designing an app for a local startup to address this problem. Flatboxer utilizes Amazon, Uber, Lyft, and other drivers to break down, remove, and recycle discarded packaging materials for a reasonable price. Unlike many driving platforms, drivers with trucks or older cars can participate.
